EBay/ Live.com Cashback Rebate % - Up... And Down....

Hey folks...

I only started following the eBay/ Live.com CB 20-35% rebates recently.

It was somewhat startling to see it drop all the way down to 20% from 30% earlier in the day... Can I expect to see it jump back up?

yes its does go up and down, just wait a bit and you will see it go back up

Is there any particular schedule or way to follow it? I was all set to buy a laptop and get my $200 bucks back based on the 30%. I was psyched and had emailed the seller for details that morning. When I logged in that afternoon, the % dropped to 20% (which is still good, but not what I had planned). Good to know it goes up and down. I'd like to try to get in faster next time. Can we still get the FW 3% on this too? or does the link have to go through live.com to be active?

Now this sucks, I just checked it and it's down to 15%....anyone sure if it'll go back up?

Also, is there a faster way to check it besides going to the link, going into eBay and hitting the BIN on a product?


NOTE: I checked my paypal account and got the CashBack the same day as the purchase, deposited right into the paypal account. Didn't have to wait the 60 days like they said.

Is there any pattern for the discount that can follow?
I bought 1 item the day before w 25% CB and was hoping for 30% CB the next day...... I m looking at 20% today, what is happening w MS???????????
